Facebook and Twitter: Use Your Fan Page to Tweet

If you are the admin to a Facebook Page (Fan Page), you can now share updates with your Twitter followers, and are able to control the type of updates you want to share: status updates, links, notes, photos, etc, or all of them!

This is a huge advancement to Facebook and Twitter. You can now use two of the most powerful social networks on the Internet, side by side. Killing two birds with one stone.

This application will also allow you the option to sync multiple Pages to different Twitter accounts. So if you have a second or third Fan Page that you operate and a Twitter account to coincide with it, then can sync those as well.

Hint: If you create a Fan Page, make a Twitter account for it too. And vice versa.

It is easy to use. Sign into your facebook account and follow the link above.

Click on “Link a Page to Twitter”

Then select the Facebook Fan Page you want to link to your Twitter account.Next, you will be redirected to Twitter. Allow Facebook access. (You might need to sign into Twitter)

From here you will be able to create the settings for what Facebook sends to Twitter. I go for them all!

It will allow you to post to multiple Twitter accounts, tweet your RSS feed, and even automatically follow your followers. Twitter has yet to implement the auto follow function, so by adding this setting, you don’t have to worry about going on and following someone every time you get a follower.

First visit twitcam.com and use their 1,2,3 sign up to get started.

First is to sign in with your twitter id.  Second choose the audio video source.  Lastly,  Press the “Broad cast and Tweet” button.

I like that once you set up the broad cast you can send everyone a unique Url. prior to broadcasting.  They show up and if your not there it will give them a “not online” message.

also all the tweets will be featured under neath so you can use it for an open forum to answer questions.

Remember to have some pre planned content because you are talking to the, pne way and you can avoid the dead air time if you plan it.

After you finish the broadcast is ready to playback so you can watch it again or use the embedded code to upload it to a web site or social web 2.0 site.  This is a really convenient tool, get out there and use it.
